Dr Nettles Background - How does he know so Much?


So it turns out treating hair loss is not that easy.

A lot of big companies have tried and failed.

Dr Nettles however started at a young age, while even a child in fact.  After seeing first his father start to bald and then older brothers, he realized that genetics must be involved and wrote a thesis paper on genetics while still in high school.


Dr Nettles is a medical doctor and ex-hair transplant surgeon who has also worked in dermatology, ophthalmology and cosmetic surgery.  He has studied biochemistry, genetics and endocrinology.  Plus he also has a masters in human behavior.

During medical school he completed all his math's and science subjects while in his first year and so turned to other areas of research to fill his time.

I know I have hereditary hair loss, why do I need bloodwork?

For 70% of men and 40% of women the main cause of their hair loss is genetics.  For many this is easily discernable by looking to the heads of relatives such as parent's, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and siblings.
